At a glance
Final amount, rate and tenure depend on the lender and your profile.
Local guide
Pune’s economy spans IT parks in Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Magarpatta, the automobile and engineering belt from Pimpri-Chinchwad and Bhosari to Chakan and Ranjangaon, and a large population of students and young professionals drawn by its colleges.
Borrowers here often need money for a move, furnishing a flat, a course or certification, or a family event. As in Mumbai, Maharashtra requires leave and licence agreements to be registered, so keep your registered agreement and a recent MSEDCL electricity bill as proof of your current address. Students should know that a personal loan needs a regular income of your own. If you work in the industrial belt, salary slips and bank statements showing regular salary credits help lenders confirm your income.
Lenders decide PIN code by PIN code which areas they serve, so share yours to see who can lend to you.
Each lender serves its own areas. When you apply, we show you only the lenders that cover your PIN code.
How it works
No branch visit to apply with Firstfund. The lender does its own KYC: online with Aadhaar, by video call, at your doorstep or at a branch.
Tell us the amount, what it’s for and your Pune PIN code. It takes about 3 minutes.
When you apply, we show you the lenders that fit your area and profile.
The lender shares its offer and Key Fact Statement. You choose whether to go ahead.
Eligibility
Each lender sets its own criteria. Keep these handy; you won’t need to upload them on Firstfund.
Common uses
Good to know
The lender must give you a Key Fact Statement with the APR, every fee and the repayment schedule before you sign. It stays valid for at least three working days, and a fee that isn’t in it can’t be charged without your consent.
For floating-rate personal loans sanctioned or renewed from 1 January 2026, lenders can’t charge a fee to prepay. Most personal loans have a fixed rate, so check the prepayment terms in the KFS.
Firstfund doesn’t charge you to apply. A real lender pays the loan into your own bank account, deducts any processing fee shown in the KFS, and never asks for money upfront.
Based on Reserve Bank of India directions on Key Facts Statements (2024), pre-payment charges (2025) and digital lending (2025). Your lender’s KFS and loan agreement have the final terms.
Questions
Usually not. RBI rules let banks and NBFCs complete KYC by video call, and many collect documents online or at your doorstep. Some lenders may still ask you to visit a branch.
Yes. Lenders may ask for proof of your current address, such as a rent agreement or utility bill, and may check how long you’ve lived and worked here.
Rates depend mainly on the lender and your profile: income, credit history and existing loans. Your city affects which lenders can serve you.
Usually not without your own regular income: personal loans through Firstfund need a minimum monthly income of ₹15,000. A parent can take the loan instead, or you can compare an education loan.
Your home PIN code decides which lenders can serve you; your employer and salary decide how much they may lend. Share both and our team will check.
No. Sharing your details with Firstfund is free. Lenders may charge a processing fee, which they must show in the Key Fact Statement.
