Local guide
Bengaluru draws people from across India to its technology, startup, research and manufacturing jobs, from Whitefield and Electronic City to the Outer Ring Road and Manyata. Many borrowers here are salaried, have moved from another state and rent their homes, often with a security deposit of several months’ rent.
A personal loan here often pays for that deposit, furniture for a new home, a course or certification, or family costs back home. If your Aadhaar shows another state, lenders will want proof of your current address: a rent agreement with a recent BESCOM electricity bill is the usual pair. Lenders also look at how long you have been with your current employer, so keep your offer letter and recent salary slips handy.
Lenders decide PIN code by PIN code which areas they serve, so share yours to see who can lend to you.
Each lender serves its own areas. When you apply, we show you only the lenders that cover your PIN code.
How it works
No branch visit to apply with Firstfund. The lender does its own KYC: online with Aadhaar, by video call, at your doorstep or at a branch.
Tell us the amount, what it’s for and your Bengaluru PIN code. It takes about 3 minutes.
When you apply, we show you the lenders that fit your area and profile.
The lender shares its offer and Key Fact Statement. You choose whether to go ahead.
Eligibility
Each lender sets its own criteria. Keep these handy; you won’t need to upload them on Firstfund.
Common uses
Good to know
The lender must give you a Key Fact Statement with the APR, every fee and the repayment schedule before you sign. It stays valid for at least three working days, and a fee that isn’t in it can’t be charged without your consent.
For floating-rate personal loans sanctioned or renewed from 1 January 2026, lenders can’t charge a fee to prepay. Most personal loans have a fixed rate, so check the prepayment terms in the KFS.
Firstfund doesn’t charge you to apply. A real lender pays the loan into your own bank account, deducts any processing fee shown in the KFS, and never asks for money upfront.
Based on Reserve Bank of India directions on Key Facts Statements (2024), pre-payment charges (2025) and digital lending (2025). Your lender’s KFS and loan agreement have the final terms.
